Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

KO2's client, a leader in the manufacture of high-quality electronic machines used around the globe, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD designer who is strong with SolidWorks and looking to work closely within a small design team, having an impact on future product developments and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts from artistic impression through to CNC programming for manufacturing
  • Convert legacy 2D drawings to SolidWorks models
  • Create CNC router programming data for production of component parts
  • Translate CAD designs into effective CNC programs
  • Produce detailed product specifications and technical data to support Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with Technical Services to develop solutions for installation and presentation of new/updated hardware
  • Generate BOMs and documentation to support commercial functions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with SolidWorks, with CAD and CAM skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical/electronic design interfaces is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve results
