A fast-growing electronics engineering business in Norwich has an urgent need for a skilled Contract Electronics Technician to join their R&D team with an immediate start and a one stage Teams interview.
This is a hands-on contract role embedded within an advanced electronics development environment, supporting a talented engineering team on cutting edge testing and development projects.

- Location: Norwich, Norfolk
- Rate: Up to £45ph Outside IR35
- Duration: 3 month initial contract | ASAP start

What You'll Be Doing
- Electronic PCB rework and modifications - surface mount and through-hole
- Board-level soldering and electronics modifications
- Building and wiring simple electronics test rigs
- Supporting lab-based testing activities
- Maintaining lab organisation and electronic component/equipment control
- Documenting modifications accurately and consistently
- Working alongside Electronics Engineers on active development projects
What We're Looking For
- Proven PCB rework and soldering experience - you're comfortable at the bench
- Background in an R&D or electronics lab environment
- Able to work independently as well as in close support of engineers
- Solid understanding of electronics assembly and testing processes
- Organised, proactive and genuinely hands-on
- High-voltage awareness or experience is a bonus
