We give robots the ability to reliably perform mundane manufacturing work. We gather physical AI and embodied AI data from robots doing real factory tasks through human-in-the-loop teleoperation, reducing factory OPEX by 50% from day one. Today we sell the data; later, we will use that data to build our own foundation models so robots can do the work autonomously.

The role involves building the software that makes it happen, full stack, whatever the mission needs. You will:

  • Build teleoperation interfaces, robot data pipelines, backend services, and factory-facing tools.
  • Own the whole loop: talk to users, build it, deploy it, fix it.
  • Make software that holds up in real factories, not just demos.

We want you if you solve problems like an owner. No ego, no blockers. Don’t say 'it won’t work.' Try it. Validate it. Ship it.

Whether you are an experienced engineer or a recent grad itching to ship real products, we encourage you to apply.

Why join us?

  • Generous base + equity.
  • Build from the ground up with real robots and real users.
  • Solve valuable problems today.

Our team comes from Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Universal Robots, Siemens, and the University of Cambridge.

How to prepare for a job interview at ko-br

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If ko-br uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
