We are proud to deliver a diverse programme of community events, which have the aims of bringing the community together to foster community spirit, or to bring footfall to the town centre to support a vibrant high street. As Events Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering this.

As Events Officer you’ll work across the full range of our events programme. Starting off with preparing for Pumpkin Path and heading into our Christmas Light Switch On and Christmas Market.

You will work to deliver events such as:

  • The easter theme Bunny Hop trail
  • An outdoor cinema event on the Moor
  • Flash Fashion helping to promote our fashion offer in the town centre
  • Our community get together Picnic in the Park
  • Knutsford Music Festival bringing a weekend of talent to the town centre

You will work under the direction of the Events Manager to help plan, manage and deliver our events from start to finish. From sourcing suppliers, managing budgets, attending the events and reviewing delivery after the event.

The role will require evening and weekend work to work the events. You’ll be at the heart of the events, so a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to think on your feet is essential.
