Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? Do you believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and ready to learn? If so, we are seeking an exceptional Pastoral Lead to join our dedicated team.

At the heart of our school is our shared vision: Believe, Belong, Become. We are committed to ensuring that every child believes in themselves, feels a deep sense of belonging within our community, and is empowered to become the very best version of who they can be. We know that strong relationships, high expectations, and a culture of care are essential to making this vision a reality.

This is a pivotal role within our school. As Pastoral Lead, you will work at the centre of our community, supporting pupils, families, and staff to ensure that every child is safe, valued, and able to thrive. Acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a key role in protecting and promoting the welfare of our children, while building strong, trusting partnerships with families and external agencies.

You will champion inclusion and wellbeing, leading pastoral initiatives that enable pupils to overcome barriers, engage positively with school life, and develop resilience. Through early intervention, family engagement, and targeted support, you will ensure that all children—particularly our most vulnerable—are given every opportunity to succeed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is deeply committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children
  • Can inspire pupils to believe in themselves and their potential
  • Creates a culture where every child and family feels they truly belong
  • Is driven to help each child become their very best
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and resilience

In return, you will join a supportive, values-driven team united by a clear moral purpose: to make a lasting difference to the lives of our children and community.

If you are ready to play a vital role in shaping brighter futures and bringing our vision of Believe, Belong, Become to life each and every day, we would love to hear from you.

At Knutsford, you’ll find a welcoming and nurturing environment where your ideas and talents are valued. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our learners. As you take the next step in your teaching journey, we encourage you to join us and help shape the lives of our learning community in a school that truly supports and develops its staff.
