KNTC Ltd is a growing infrastructure delivery partner operating across telecoms and utility sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued growth across our current workstreams, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Civils Supervisor to join our operational team and support the successful delivery of multiple contracts across Greater London and surrounding areas. This is a hands‑on supervisory role for an individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can lead teams effectively, and has a proven track record of delivering civils projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civils operatives and subcontractor gangs across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and health & safety checks.
- Monitor excavation, reinstatement, duct installation, chamber construction, and associated civils activities.
- Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HSE regulations, permit conditions, and company procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, operational managers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage productivity, programme delivery, and resource allocation across sites.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise delays and maximise performance.
- Produce accurate site reports and maintain project records.
- Lead by example, promoting a strong safety culture and high‑quality workmanship throughout all operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK Driving Licence (critical requirement).
- Previous experience as a Civils Supervisor within Telecoms, Utilities, Fibre Networks, or Infrastructure sectors.
- NRSWA Supervisor Accreditation.
- Strong understanding of excavation, reinstatement, streetworks, and permit requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet client delivery targets.
Desirable
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Experience delivering projects within Openreach, Virgin Media, CityFibre, or similar telecoms environments.
- Knowledge of permit management systems and local authority processes.
