A forward thinking company who have won multiple awards are looking for a trainee administrator to join their experienced team to start or develop their career within Pension Administration. The company combine advanced technology with a personal and client driven approach.
Working as part of the Pension Administration Department, you will be involved with the following day to day responsibilities:
- Producing calculations of member benefits which vary from scheme to scheme; as you gain more experience and skills, the calculations will become more complex.
- Preparing letters to members, clients and advisors.
- Updating databases and data files and using verification processes to check that data has been entered accurately.
- Keeping records up to date and in order.
- Communicating with pension scheme members and clients, dealing with general telephone enquiries on a daily basis.
Key skills and experience:
- You will have excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with numerical information.
- Educated to A Level or Degree (or equivalent), including Maths GCSE.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, along with an inquisitive mindset to learn new technology.
- Confident communication skills and a strong team player.
- A flexible and pro-active mindset are a must for this role as you will continue to learn and develop throughout your career.
- The ability to manage and organise your day to day priorities.
- You will be willing to study for professional exams.
