The role of Personal Development Tutor is to provide pastoral support to a caseload of students. A Personal Development Tutor will develop effective working partnerships with subject teachers, parents/carers and other stakeholders to support students on their personal development journey with the College. A Personal Development Tutor will monitor students’ overall performance in college, including progress, attendance planning for next steps and overall personal development.
The role will undertake a programme of group and one to one tutorials with each student to review their progress against targets, this includes signposting students, and supporting them to access, the wider range of services and support available through the College.
