We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of temporary/full-time NEET Lecturer/Keyworker. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.
The successful candidate must be able to deliver high quality education, training and skills to college students in order to meet the Colleges mission, aims and objectives. As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of teaching/assessment of employability skills, PHSE and Tutorial.
The successful candidate must have:
- Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject area
- PGCE/ Cert.Ed. qualification or relevant teaching qualification, or be willing to complete within 12 months from appointment
- GCSE English & Maths (A*-C)
- Experience of teaching and/or assessing
- Experience of working with disengaged young people
- Experience working with external agencies and parent/carers
- Experience of working with learners with challenging behaviour or complex needs
