About the Role

At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, the role of a Lecturer includes providing high quality education, training and skills to college students and clients in order to meet the Colleges mission, aims and objectives. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of teaching / training / assessment on the courses that you teach and be accountable to the HOS & DHOS for the academic and professional standards, performance and outcomes of the HE/FE/Work-based courses on which you teach.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Have experience of teaching and motivating students with SEND
  • Hold a relevant degree and/or SEND related qualifications
  • Have a relevant teaching qualification or equivalent teaching qualification, or be willing to achieve this qualification within a set period upon appointment
  • Have GCSE Maths and English (A*-C)
  • Be well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
