Responsibilities:

  • Fostering independence and facilitating community access (coffee trips, shopping, outings).
  • Assisting with wheelchair access in the community.
  • Supporting with personal care.
  • Keeping client's bedroom clean and tidy.
  • Maintaining laundry and clothing care.
  • Providing companionship and positive engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
  • DBS will be needed or applied for.

Ideally have experience supporting adults with additional needs. Confidence supporting wheelchair users. Comfort with personal care. Patient, respectful and has a good sense of humour. Reliability and a caring nature are essential.
