An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Assets Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard‑working, extremely organised and self‑motivated person with construction knowledge to join the Building Projects Team. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects of varying sizes and complexities.

The role could see the successful individual undertaking major refurbishment projects on public buildings or large‑scale extensions to increase capacity in our schools. You will be responsible for delivering projects through the RIBA project lifecycle and take all stakeholders along the journey with you.

As part of your employment you will work a 36 hour week and receive the following benefits:

You will be required to undertake building surveys, create CAD drawings and gather detailed survey information required to progress the scheme. You will produce specifications, schedules of works, cost projections, undertake site visits and produce final accounts. You will be required to write reports to a high level and follow all statutory requirements and be responsible for ensuring CDM Legislation is adhered to.
