Working Pattern: Full Time

Hours: 36 hours per week. Additional overtime available.

We have an opportunity within Volair Ltd for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our highly successful team, delivering Volair’s services at Halewood Leisure Centre as a Lifeguard!

Role

The post is for a fully qualified NPLQ lifeguard to work as part of a team, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care are always maintained. This role requires constant supervision of the poolside; you will need to be fully focused with the ability to remain vigilant, alert, and attentive. This position involves the setting up of equipment to meet the needs of the programmed activities and to undertake cleaning tasks to ensure the centre is well presented to the highest standard. The candidate will have a friendly and approachable manner to always maintain a high level of customer service. The candidate must be NPLQ qualified and must be able to demonstrate competency. Ongoing monthly training is also required along with:

  • Maintain water safety procedures and pool etiquette.
  • Ensure a safe and fun environment for all swimmers.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
  • Engage, coach, and inspire our members of all ages and abilities.
  • Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach.
  • Be part of a motivated team fully embracing our company values and standards.
  • Support the varied programme of activities and sessions.
Qualifications

Qualified NPLQ lifeguard, current CPR and First Aid certifications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills. Fun, energetic personality and a passion for swimming.
