Knowsley Council is looking to recruit three outstanding permanent Directors to help drive the next phase of our ambitious transformation and make a lasting difference to the lives of our residents. We are seeking inspirational, values driven leaders to join our Corporate Leadership Team in the following pivotal roles:
- Director of Adult Social Care and Commissioning
- Director of Children’s Social Care
- Director of Education & Inclusion
Each role carries responsibility for shaping high quality, person centred services, strong partnership working, and sustained improvement across complex systems. Together, these posts sit at the heart of Knowsley’s commitment to delivering the very best outcomes for adults, children, families and communities and provide support to the statutory officers acting as their deputies. At the heart of these roles is a belief that strong trusted relationships, with residents, partners and colleagues are the most powerful driver of sustainable improvement and better outcomes.
About you
You will be an experienced senior leader with a strong professional background, a track record of driving improvement and assurance, and the credibility to influence at local, regional and national level. We are looking for leaders who are genuinely committed to coproduction, working alongside people with lived experience and our wider communities as equal partners in designing and delivering services.
