We are looking for dedicated Advanced Practitioners to join our Hospital Discharge Team & Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub. Are you passionate about social work? Do you have the skills and experience to support a busy social work team? Do you want to support others to grow their skills? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this role!
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will drive practice development and improvement in the service and ensure the safe and effective delivery of services to adults with eligible care needs. You will provide professional leadership and supervision to Social Workers and Social Care Co‑ordinators with a focus on supporting a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement. You will take a lead role supporting social work and support staff with complex cases. Our busy social work teams are passionate about working with adults, carers and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for those with care and support needs and their carers.
You will need to hold a social work qualification and have a professional registration as a social worker with Social Work England. At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part‑time.
