The post will be based within the Strategic Housing team which is responsible for homelessness, allocations, housing assistance, affordable warmth, affordable homes development and housing intelligence.
The post holder will be responsible for developing the Council approach to homelessness and leading on rough sleeping which will involve commissioning and contract management.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working as part of a team and a track record of working independently to achieve service objectives within agreed timescales.
- A commitment to developing their knowledge and experience to enable them to effectively meet service objectives.
- Educated to degree level and/or an equivalent qualification in housing, or demonstrate suitable professional experience.
