Salary: £26,403 to £28,142 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
Location: Prescot Museum, Aspinal Street, Prescot, Knowsley, L34 5GA, Kirkby Activity Base, Norwich Way, Kirkby, Knowsley, L32 8XY
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part Time
Hours: 18.5 hours per week. Alternative Mondays and every Thursday and Friday.

Culture Knowsley develops high quality culture and events programmes, partnerships, projects and initiatives which support Council priorities and Knowsley’s cultural strategy. The role will assist the Culture Development and Events Officer to develop a rich programme of exhibitions, workshops, volunteer opportunities and events for residents and visitors to Knowsley at Kirkby gallery and Prescot Museum.
Experience of working within the museum and gallery sector along with working with communities is essential. NVQ in a related field is required.
At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least 2 days per week.
