Our current vacancies involve you providing reception support for a range of services across the council.

  • Post 1: Location - Nutgrove Villa, Huyton
  • Post 2: Location - Within Children Centres across Knowsley

You would be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors, service users, and partner agencies.
  • Preparing and booking meeting rooms.
  • Updating and distributing service rotas on a weekly basis.
  • Updating and maintaining service user information.
  • Undertake financial duties as required e.g. raising orders, receiving goods and checking accuracy of invoices.
  • Managing incoming calls, taking messages, and signposting.

Business Support Assistants would be expected to handle and share confidential and sensitive information in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Candidates should demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands, work accurately and efficiently under pressure, and possess strong IT and customer service skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
