We currently have a position available within our Revenues team and are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Revenues & Benefits Officer to support our Council Tax and Business Rates teams.
Responsibilities- You will support the day‑to‑day delivery of the Revenues service. This will include processing customer accounts, updating records and helping ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- You will deal with customer enquiries, provide clear advice and resolve queries where possible.
- You will also assist with awarding discounts, reliefs and exemptions, as well as supporting recovery processes.
- Experience working in an administrative or customer service environment.
- Confident dealing with a range of customer enquiries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, able to manage your workload and work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in Revenues is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
