Environmental Health Service - Fixed Term (12 Months)

Location: Stretton Way, Stretton Way Depot, Huyton Ind Estate, Huyton, L36 6JF, Hybrid Working

Contract: Temporary (12 months)

Working Pattern: Full Time

Hours: 36 hours per week (consideration for part‐time)

Essential responsibilities:

  • Provide a high‐quality, professional environmental health service with continuous improvement.
  • Deliver an intervention programme to improve housing conditions and environmental cleanliness.
  • Manage and control public health pests (rats and mice).
  • Support the Environmental Health Service and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant skills and experience for delivering environmental health intervention programmes.
  • Knowledge of pest management and control.
  • Commitment to fair, inclusive, and just workplace practices.

Flexible working is available – flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part‐time. Attendance at the work base is required at least two days per week.
