Salary: £34,343.00 to £36,363.00 per annum

Location: Hybrid Working, Court Hey, Roby Road, Liverpool, L16 3NA

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

Hours: 36 hours per week. Consideration will be given for part-time working.

As Climate Change Officer, you will provide vital support to the delivery of the Council's Climate Change Emergency Action Plan and Net Zero Delivery Plan. The postholder will be responsible for monitoring the energy efficiency of council buildings, identifying energy efficiency projects and solutions including heating and lighting and building fabric. The postholder will seek out external funding opportunities and undertake grant funding applications, project and financial management.

When identifying a suitable individual for the position, we will look for an ability to manage a diverse work programme and multiple priorities, as well as good communication and project‑planning skills.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part‑time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least 2 days per week.
