The Governing Body of St Luke’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 2. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher and support teaching and learning, including targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, enabling all children to achieve their full potential within a caring, inclusive and faith-centred environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Be able to support learning through planned and play-based activities
- Demonstrate a caring, patient and inclusive approach
- Work effectively as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher
- Support the Catholic ethos and values of St Luke’s Catholic Primary School
