The Governors of St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated and suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school as required, initially in year 5 with a possibility of moving to a different year group in the future depending on experience.
We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children and enabling them to thrive.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Work closely with the class teacher following plans and targets.
- Have the ability to work flexibly.
- Be committed to working within the Catholic ethos of St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School.
- Have an understanding and experience of working with primary children.
- Be able to work positively within a team.
- Make a positive contribution to school life.
- Have an understanding of the National Curriculum and have competent skills in both English and Maths.
- Must have completed the NVQ/NCFE Level 2 Teaching Assistants Course.
