Meadow Park School is a pupil referral unit situated in the borough of Knowsley on Merseyside. We provide a quality educational experience for children who have or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to medical, social, emotional or behavioural needs.
We support young people to develop alternative strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalised curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.
We are looking to appoint an IT Technician at this exciting time in the school’s life. If successful you will manage and maintain the school’s curriculum network and provide first line IT support to pupils and staff. The successful candidate will lead on whole school IT systems, ensuring they are working to an optimum level at all times.
The successful candidate will:
- Be the point of contact for staff Technical Issues, recording all jobs and prioritising tasks accordingly
- Detect, diagnose and resolve most PC, laptops, tablets, printers and peripheral device faults
- Manage the Active Directory for the school network, ensure key services such as DHCP/ DNS/ Group Policy & Print Services are up to date
- Develop a maintenance\refresh schedule
- Able to support the schools MIS system (Arbor)
- Maintain accurate asset and disposal registers
- Administer the schools Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace online environments
