Role Summary
The Governors of St Columba’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2), with relevant experience and qualifications required to support pupils across the school, from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. The successful candidates will work with and supervise the physical and general care of children under the direction of the teacher, providing general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom. The successful candidates will also take part in the planning, development and implementation of programmes of support for pupils when required.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be committed to our inclusive and caring environment and the achievement of every pupil in our care
- Have experience of working as a TA
- Have experience of working with SEN children
- Have high expectations and standards
- Be flexible and adaptable and able to work as part of a dedicated and committed team
- Have Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or above
- Have experience in the classroom and able to work independently using your own initiative
- Be dedicated to ensuring children make academic and pastoral progress
- Have excellent attendance and punctuality
