The Governors of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Club Assistant.
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Afterschool Club Assistant to join our team. You will support the day-to-day running of our provision, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Assist in preparing and serving snacks
- Ensure all dietary requirements and allergies are understood and strictly followed
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Help create a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children’s wellbeing
- Assist with setting up and tidying away equipment and resources
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children (desirable)
- A positive, patient, and caring attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to engage children in play and activities
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
Qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
- Level 2 Certificate in Childcare or Equivalent Qualification
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
