The role will provide a high-level redaction support service for the Council with particular focus on work arising from the Children’s Social Care teams resulting from Information Rights Requests. You will be required to ensure all documents are redacted in accordance with Data Protection requirements and best practice guidance and provide advice and guidance to Council staff, where appropriate, as directed by the Council’s Data Protection Officer, Deputy Data Protection Officer and Data Protection Compliance Officers.
The role will also be required to support the Information Governance Team in ensuring that the Council meets a high level of compliance with data protection law and in embedding a culture of data protection and information security within the Council.
