As Insurance Manager you will play a significant role in helping to deliver the Council's priorities. The provision of an effective Insurance service is key to supporting the Council's financial resilience and to ensure the ongoing delivery of essential services to Knowsley's residents.
To be successful, you will have:
- A sound knowledge of insurance legislation
- Experience in managing a team handling a broad variety of insurance claims
- The ability to advise client services on the Council's insurance policies
- Experience of delivering successful renewal and tender exercises
- The ability to plan and prioritise activities across competing demands with confidence
- The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong customer focus with the customer experience at the heart of the services you deliver
- A demonstrable track record of leading, developing and managing highly performing teams
