The post will be based within the Strategic Housing team which is responsible for homelessness, allocations, housing assistance, affordable warmth, affordable homes development and housing intelligence.
You will be responsible for developing housing strategy and policy as well as supporting the operational housing functions which include housing allocation, homelessness and housing renewal.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing housing strategy and policy.
- Supporting operational housing functions including housing allocation, homelessness and housing renewal.
- Experience of working as part of a team and independently to achieve service objectives within agreed timescales.
- A commitment to developing knowledge and experience to effectively meet service objectives.
- Educated to degree level and/or an equivalent qualification in housing, or demonstrate suitable professional experience.
At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least two days per week but this may be more subject to work priorities.
