- Job Purpose
The role is to proactively, efficiently and effectively plan and coordinate the supported internship provision in both Knowsley and St Helens.
The successful candidate will support young adults with a learning disability so that they can transition into work by providing high‑quality support, training and skills to college students and clients, thereby helping the Colleges to achieve their mission, aims and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Proactively, efficiently and effectively plan and coordinate the supported internship provision in both Knowsley and St Helens.
- Provide high‑quality support, training and skills to college students and clients.
- Assist young adults with a learning disability to transition into work.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in a specialist area.
- Coaching qualification (desirable).
- Experience and knowledge within Supported Learning.
- Experience working with young people in a learning environment.
- Experience working with students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
