About the Role: Support the Construction department by preparing work areas and materials for student classes and assessment activities, ensuring materials are prepared for practical classes and maintaining accurate stock levels. In addition, ensure that resources and tools are stored securely and work in line with legislation, codes of practice and College policies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain work areas and materials for students.
- Ensure accurate stock levels and secure storage of resources and tools.
- Operate in compliance with current legislation, codes of practice and College policies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong communication skills.
- Level 2 in English and Maths (GCSEs or Functional Skills).
- Basic IT skills.
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject – desirable.
- First Aid Certificate – desirable.
- Experience working with young people in a busy workshop environment – desirable.
