Provide training and instruction in a real kitchen for college students and clients. Deliver high‑quality education to meet the college’s mission, aims and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver training/assessment in a real working kitchen environment.
  • Accountable to the Head of School and Deputy Head of School for the academic and professional standards, performance and outcomes of the higher education, further education and work‑based courses taught.

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate catering qualification in a relevant subject area, or willingness to achieve the qualification within a set period from appointment.
  • Relevant teaching qualification, or willingness to achieve it within a set period from appointment.
  • Willingness to achieve QTLS status within 12 months of obtaining the teaching qualification.
  • GCSE Maths and English (A*–C).
  • Relevant industry experience in catering.
