Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated temporary/full-time NEET Lecturer/Keyworker to join the Foundation Learning team for the new academic year 25/26. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an expanding area of the curriculum, supporting foundation learning students in achieving their qualifications.

The successful candidate will deliver high quality education, training and skills to college students in order to meet the College\’s mission, aims and objectives. As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of teaching/assessment of employability skills, PHSE and Tutorial.

  • Coordinate and deliver teaching and assessment of employability skills, PHSE and Tutorial

What the Successful Candidate Must Have

  • Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject area
  • PGCE/Cert.Ed. qualification or relevant teaching qualification, or be willing to complete within 12 months from appointment
  • GCSE English & Maths (A*-C)
  • Experience of teaching and/or assessing
  • Experience of working with disengaged young people
  • Experience working with external agencies and parent/carers
  • Experience of working with learners with challenging behaviour or complex needs
