knowmad mood is hiring a Country Manager for the United Kingdom
At knowmad mood , we are an international IT services company with 3,000 professionals and presence in 10 countries : Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Uruguay, and Morocco .
We are listed on the Spanish BME Growth stock exchange, and we help our clients drive their digital transformation through high-impact solutions that combine technology, talent, and proximity.
We are currently executing an ambitious 2024–2028 strategic plan with the following public objectives:
- Reach €550 million in revenue by 2028
- Exceed €48 million in normalized EBITDA
- Ensure that at least 25% of our business is international
The UK market is a strategic part of this growth. We already operate in key projects and currently have a local team of around 20 people , supported by additional professionals working remotely from other countries within the group in a distributed (nearshore) model.
We are now ready to consolidate and scale our presence significantly. For this reason, we are hiring a Country Manager for the United Kingdom to lead this new growth phase with vision, autonomy, and ambition.
This role reports directly to the CEO of the group.
You will be the most senior leader of knowmad mood in the UK , responsible for business development, local strategy, P&L, team leadership, and alignment with the group’s international vision.
While this is a cross-functional leadership role (covering delivery, operations, HR, finance…), we expect your leadership to have a special focus on the commercial area —strengthening our value proposition in the UK market, building lasting relationships, and positioning knowmad mood as a relevant player in the local tech ecosystem.
- Design and execute the strategic roadmap for sustained, profitable growth in the UK
- Lead all commercial activity: define priorities, open key sectors, and establish a high-performance sales culture
- Represent knowmad mood in the UK market, building long-term partnerships and institutional relationships
- Strengthen our positioning both within the Atlassian ecosystem and across other service lines: cloud, custom software development, agile transformation, data, integration , and more
- Lead and grow the current local team (~20 people) while coordinating with distributed teams across the group that support UK-based projects
- Ensure achievement of business and financial targets
- Work in close coordination with the group CEO and global corporate team
What We’re Looking For
- Preferred experience as Country Manager, Managing Director, or Country Lead in an IT services company (not required). We will also consider candidates with equivalent responsibilities and a proven ability to lead operations with strategic vision and full accountability
- Deep knowledge of the UK market and its business and technology dynamics
- Strong track record combining strategic thinking, operational leadership, and P&L ownership
- Ability to build teams from scratch or scale up from a small base
- Inspiring leadership style, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong results orientation
- Native or bilingual English. International experience and other languages are a plus
- Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem is a plus but not mandatory
- Constructive spirit, autonomy, and the ability to represent knowmad mood’s culture and vision
What We Offer
- The opportunity to lead the UK operation with full visibility and impact
- Be part of the international executive team of a fast-growing company
- Real autonomy to build, lead, and make your mark
- Direct access to the group CEO and top-level decision-making
- A dynamic, purpose-driven, and agile working environment
- A competitive compensation package aligned with performance and growth
If you’re motivated by vision, autonomy, and the opportunity to lead an international growth story, this could be your next challenge.
