Main Purpose of the Role: The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse colleagues within a specific operational area (e.g., picking, packing, goods-in, replenishment, dispatch). Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Leader ensures that daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining high levels of colleague engagement and operational discipline. Fast-paced warehouse setting with shift-based work. May involve manual handling and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Occasional need to work additional hours during peak periods. Please note that candidates must be a commutable distance from Wimblington to be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities: Daily Operational Leadership: Lead a team of warehouse operatives to deliver the shift plan and meet productivity and accuracy targets. Allocate work, monitor progress, and adjust resources to maintain workflow and service levels. Ensure all team members follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and site rules. Act as the first point of contact for operational issues within the area. Ensure client SLA's are monitored and met. Shop floor visibility. Onsite multi-user and third-party contract support.
