About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and grow our marketing function during an exciting period of growth. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering a marketing strategy that drives lead generation, strengthens brand awareness, and supports our commercial objectives. Leading a small team, you'll oversee multichannel campaigns and use data, insight, and creativity to deliver measurable results. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Digital, Curriculum, and Design, you'll play a key role in shaping how KnowledgeBrief engages employers, learners, and stakeholders. This is an opportunity for a strategic marketer who enjoys combining big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery and wants to make a visible impact within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a marketing strategy aligned to organisational growth objectives
  • Lead multichannel campaigns that drive lead generation, engagement, and brand awareness
  • Define and monitor marketing KPIs, using data and insight to optimise performance
  • Oversee content, digital marketing, website activity, and campaign delivery across multiple channels
  • Manage and develop a small marketing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation
  • Work closely with Commercial, Digital, Curriculum, and Design teams to maximise marketing impact
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility, market position, and customer engagement
  • Champion the KnowledgeBrief brand across all communications and touchpoints

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering successful marketing strategies
  • Strong experience in lead generation and multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams
  • Experience managing marketing activity across digital channels, including email, content, social media, SEO, SEM, and PPC
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and make evidence-based decisions
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align marketing activity with business objectives
  • Experience managing budgets, priorities, and competing marketing initiatives

Desirable

  • Experience within apprenticeships, training, education, learning technology, or professional services sectors
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Experience working within a growing or scaling organisation
  • Qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or a similar professional body
