Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Web Developer to join KnowledgeBrief. You’ll play a vital role in developing and enhancing our digital platforms, working closely with our design and product teams to deliver user-friendly, effective learning solutions. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality e-learning experiences, shaping the future of leadership and management training. This is a hybrid role, allowing flexibility to work from home while maintaining regular weekly in-person collaboration at our Exeter office.

Web Developer - Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design Team: Work with our designers to translate their requirements and wireframes into code, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Build, test, and deploy the user interfaces for our e-learning platforms and websites, using best practices to ensure quality and usability.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement technical solutions to enhance our digital platforms, supporting our commitment to staying ahead in EdTech.
- Work in an Agile Environment: Participate in agile processes to deliver projects efficiently and adapt to changes as needed.
- Problem Solving and Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring our platforms are robust and high-performing.
- Application Testing: Test applications to ensure they meet requirements and are free from bugs before going live, guaranteeing a reliable user experience.
While we welcome candidates with a diverse range of experience, we will prioritise considering candidates with the following experience:
Essential
- At least 2 years’ experience in professional web development or a degree in Computing/Computer Science.
- Experience in developing websites and applications using Angular.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
- A user-focused mindset with enthusiasm for continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable with change, bringing a solution-oriented mindset to the team.
Desired
- Background in Science, Technology, or Design, or relevant commercial experience.
- Knowledge of:
