Job Title: Client Solutions Manager (Apprenticeships)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract – 10-Months (Maternity Cover)

Location: Remote. Must live within a 2-hour commute of London

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Start Date: May 2025

Due to our existing Partnerships Manager going on maternity leave, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated addition to our team to support our clients in the interim. While this is initially a fixed-term contract of roughly 10 months, we are confident that there may be a long-term place at KnowledgeBrief for the successful candidate as we continue to grow.

As our Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in KnowledgeBrief\’s growth and client/partner engagement strategy. This responsibility involves managing and nurturing strategic partnerships while also ensuring the satisfaction and success of individual client accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients from a learning perspective, ensuring they are satisfied with our service and they make KnowledgeBrief their preferred provider of Leadership and Management apprenticeships.

Ideally suited for an individual with experience in the apprenticeship sector, this role focuses on building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients while providing exemplary customer service. You will join the management team of KnowledgeBrief and report directly to the Operations and Quality Director.

Partnerships Manager – What\’s on offer?

  • Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £30,000-£36,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Undertake a Chartered Management Institute qualification with the company as part of a strong professional development culture
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays.
  • Paid company closure over the winter holidays
  • 2-weeks full sick pay per year.
  • Role location: Remote, working from home with occasional travel to London required. This will be paid for.

Partnerships Manager – Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships with our clients through regular meetings to discuss the progress of their employees on the apprenticeship programme
  • Collaborate with clients to create joint initiatives, campaigns, and activities to drive mutual success including understanding the ROI of the apprenticeship programme
  • Provide outstanding customer service by actively engaging and listening to clients, addressing queries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their engagement with KnowledgeBrief.
  • Support clients in developing their understanding of apprenticeships, including eligibility, suitability, off-the-job training, progress against Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs), assessment, and apprenticeship funding rules.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop strategies for maintaining high client retention rates and ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by training clients on the bespoke KB Client Platform and supporting them with the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to maintain a clear overview of individual apprentice progress on each client account, keeping clients informed and troubleshooting challenges as they arise.
  • Inform clients about apprentices\’ achievements to enable the celebration of success, both during the program and at the End-Point Assessment.
  • Assist clients in identifying additional employees who may benefit from joining the apprenticeship, fast-tracking leads to the Business Development team.
  • Keep clients informed about apprenticeship sector updates, positioning KnowledgeBrief as a credible and trusted source of information including through the KB Client Advisory Board.
  • Organise and deliver learning and best practice sharing events for clients on key themes.
  • Drive initiatives, such as surveys and forums, to glean valuable insights from clients regarding their experience to help maintain our outstanding 4-star rating on the Employer Review section of the gov.uk website.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client accounts, supporting the early identification of clients with possible lapsed accounts.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Proven experience in account management or partnership management within the apprenticeship, training, or education sector.
  • Familiarity with apprenticeship programs, funding rules, and the apprenticeship sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to listen actively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A natural aptitude for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our strategic partners.
  • Proven ability to lead discussions, influence outcomes, and collaborate effectively with multiple teams, including commercial, delivery, and apprenticeship departments.
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving and a willingness to contribute to an inspiring team environment.
  • A passion for promoting the joy of learning and a commitment to fostering the growth of the provision and our clients’ workforce.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align engagement initiatives with KnowledgeBrief\’s long-term goals and objectives.
