Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Strategic Client Partnerships Manager to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong apprenticeship expertise who is ready to step into a leadership position, focusing on strategic partnerships, sector insight, and future thinking across our client base and beyond. Rather than a traditional account management role, this position involves working closely with employers to align apprenticeships with workforce strategy, exploring return on investment (ROI), and shaping future learning priorities. You will also lead a small and growing team of client solutions professionals, ensuring a coordinated and high-impact approach to employer engagement. Additionally, you will drive client forums, research initiatives, and collaborative best practice networks to keep our programmes relevant, responsive, and effective across the full range of business apprenticeships we offer.

Strategic Client Partnerships Manager β Responsibilities
- Build Strategic Partnerships that Drive Workforce Impact
- Lead and manage long-term partnerships with a portfolio of employers, ensuring strong engagement, satisfaction, and shared success
- Act as a trusted advisor, surfacing insight, exploring challenges, and aligning apprenticeship delivery with broader workforce goals
- Travel occasionally to client sites to deepen relationships and identify future opportunities
- Champion learner success, celebrating apprenticeship achievements and sharing impact stories internally and externally
- Lead and develop a small and growing team of client solutions professionals, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Shape Organisational Development through Insight
- Host and coordinate client advisory group meetings, creating a strategic forum where clients influence learning priorities and share workforce challenges
- Facilitate a best practice network, enabling clients to exchange applied learning strategies, talent development initiatives, and organisational design approaches
- Help position KnowledgeBrief as a thought leader, drawing from client experiences and workforce trends to shape industry-wide discussions
- Generate and Apply Evidence of Learning ROI
- Lead research efforts to measure the organisational impact of apprenticeships, including talent retention, role progression, and team performance outcomes
- Translate insight into action by feeding trends, challenges, and employer feedback into internal teams such as curriculum, delivery, performance, and commercial
- Monitor satisfaction metrics and programme outcomes, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support Clients in Navigating the Apprenticeship Landscape
- Guide clients in understanding funding, eligibility, compliance, and off-the-job training requirements
- Collaborate internally with operations, curriculum, and commercial teams to ensure a seamless client experience and alignment with strategic goals
Strategic Client Partnerships Manager β Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of two yearsβ experience in the apprenticeship sector (essential)
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding rules, compliance, and sector guidelines
- Strategic and inquisitive mindset, with confidence in leading high-level discussions on workforce development and organisational growth
- Comfortable hosting client meetings, advisory groups, and industry events
- Excited about using data, feedback, and client stories to inform future learning approaches
- Collaborative and solutions-focused, able to connect the dots between client needs and internal delivery
- Passionate about learning as a driver of workforce capability, business performance, and organisational culture
