KnowledgeBrief is seeking an experienced apprenticeship assessor and trainer to join us as a Skills Coach, delivering our Level 6 Strategy & Change Leader programme. This role sits at the heart of our mission: empowering professionals to lead with confidence, clarity, and impact in complex and ever-changing business environments.
As a Skills Coach, you’ll guide a diverse group of adult learners through the Level 6 Strategy & Change Leader Apprenticeship, with a focus on personalised development and real-world application. You’ll draw on your leadership experience to integrate on-the-job and off-the-job learning into their progression. This is a remote position, but the successful candidate must live within a reasonable commute of London for occasional operations meetings and in-person days.

Skills Coach – Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and motivate adult learners on the Level 6 Strategy & Change Leader Apprenticeship
- Design personalised learner plans with clear, structured progression
- Facilitate integration of on- and off-the-job learning
- Offer tailored support and intervention strategies
- Conduct tripartite progress reviews with line managers
- Prepare learners for end-point assessment (EPA)
- Monitor and support off-the-job learning compliance
- Re-engage learners who may be at risk of falling behind
- Contribute to Apprenticeship Team and Standardisation meetings
- Inspire and engage learners from a wide range of industries
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership credentials and a background in learning and development. You may have experience in the apprenticeship space or bring fresh insight from executive coaching or strategic roles. Ideal attributes include:
- Level 6 qualification in Leadership or a related field (ideal)
- Experience coaching or mentoring senior management professionals (ideal)
- Experience delivering Level 6 Apprenticeships (highly desirable)
- Teaching qualification or professional body membership (desirable but not essential)
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of leadership principles
