We are hiring for multiple vacancies due to continued growth. Successful candidates can start from July 2026.

Location: Full-time, Remote/Hybrid. While the role may be advertised in a specific area, we operate on a home-working model. Candidates must be able to travel to London a minimum of six times per year for operational meet-ups, training days, and company away days. Travel to London for team days is reimbursed in full.

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum basic salary, dependent on experience. At this stage, the higher end of the salary banding will be considered for candidates with considerable experience selling within the apprenticeship or training sector.

Commission: Uncapped commission on all apprenticeship starts once monthly target is met.

Business Development Manager – What You'll Be Doing

We're recruiting multiple Business Development Managers to join our growing sales function. Successful candidates will join either our SME Team or our Enterprise Team, depending on experience, strengths, and business requirements.

In both teams, you'll proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through a combination of market research, prospecting, relationship building, and consultative sales activity. You'll utilise a variety of outreach methods including telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and marketing-generated opportunities to engage prospective clients and generate meaningful conversations.

SME Team

Our SME team works with small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of sectors. This environment is fast-paced and varied, requiring you to quickly understand client needs, build rapport, and guide organisations towards the most appropriate learning solutions.

You'll regularly engage with business owners, directors, senior managers, and other decision-makers, adapting your approach to different industries and organisational structures.

Enterprise Team

Our Enterprise team works with larger levy-paying organisations, often involving longer and more complex sales cycles. Success requires strategic planning, detailed research, and the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across large organisations.

You'll engage with HR Directors, Learning & Development Directors, Chief People Officers, and other senior leaders, helping them identify workforce development solutions that support organisational growth and performance.

What's On Offer

  • Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Remote from home.
  • Salary of £30,000–£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Uncapped commission on all apprenticeship starts once monthly target is met
  • Opportunity to undertake a fully funded Chartered Management Institute qualification

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays
  • Paid company closure over the winter holidays
  • 2 weeks full sick pay per year

  • Proven success in telesales, business development, or consultative sales (essential)
  • Experience selling apprenticeships, training, learning solutions, or professional services (desirable)

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

Recruitment Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a 45-minute Teams call with our People Partner to discuss the role and alignment with the requirements. Successful candidates will then be invited to interview with the Sales Manager.
