The Skilled AV Engineer plays a core role in delivering professional AV systems to exacting standards. You’ll deploy, configure, and test technology solutions including LED screens, video displays, audio systems, network cabling, and video conferencing equipment. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues or project leads, you’ll contribute to smooth, reliable installations that delight our clients. Your technical expertise and commitment to detail help ensure that every system performs exactly as intended on handover. This role works as part of an installation team and will involve supporting the lead engineers and being supported by the junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and support: LCD displays, projectors, network cabling
- Assist with LED configuration, commissioning, and fault-finding
- Follow drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
Required Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of AV fundamentals
- Full UK driving licence
- Preferable experience with: Colourlight
28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus: 1 day for your birthday (or nearest Monday/Friday), 1 additional day per year of service. 6-month probation period, after which you gain training, development, and structured progression.
