We are looking for a hard-working, honest, dependable, self-motivated person for the role of Site Assistant at our large secondary school in Bedford, Wixams Academy. As well as general site maintenance and caretaking duties, we are seeking staff who can support the growing out of hours lettings of the school campus.
We have a range of customers who use the facilities after school and at weekends, and we require some support in terms of opening up and locking down the school. We can offer flexible hours but will require staff to work into the evenings on some days and provide weekend cover, which includes on-site presence and being on call at the weekend daytime.
We can offer from 15 hours to 40 hours per week. We require a high level of responsibility in this role, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to meet the school and customers' needs. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
