Responsible to: Classroom Teacher/Tutor/Head of Department

Hours of Work: Term Time Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.30-4.30, Wednesday 8.30-2.30, Friday 32.5 Hours per week, Term time only, including INSETS.

Job Purpose: To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher or SENCo in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Staff may also supervise small groups occasionally.
