Hours of Work: Term Time Only plus 5 Inset days - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 3.00 pm (36.5 hours per week)
Job Purpose:
- To develop and sustain educational continuity and progression in learning experiences and high pupil expectations.
- To support mental health and wellbeing with outreach pupils.
- To plan and lead on the delivery of a range of ASDAN project-based activities through our offsite education provision.
- To work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and small group basis in delivering literacy, numeracy and PSHE interventions and curriculum work.
- To promote and encourage good relationships between parents/carers, the community and the school.
- To keep up to date professionally.
- To work as part of a team to ensure that the best opportunities are offered to our pupils.
- To undertake other responsibilities in the school, as agreed with the Headteacher.
- To model and promote good equalities practice and value diversity across the service.
- To support with increasing attendance, safeguarding needs and engagement from students who need a highly bespoke package of learning.
- To support with transporting students to and from school and working with families to support with good school attendance.
- To liaise with other ALP providers and support with developing timetables for students in need of outreach.
