The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Nottinghamshire County Council is recruiting in the Children and Families Finance Team. We require full AAT qualification or equivalent and ideally you will have experience of working in a public sector finance team.

The role will require hybrid working with regular attendance at County Hall, West Bridgford. The role will include responsibility for a wide range of duties including:

  • Support to budget holders
  • The completion of statutory returns to Central Government departments
  • Maintaining account integrity
  • Coordination of year end activities

You must possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills due to the volume and the nature of the data we use to assist budget monitoring, reporting and decision making. There will be a test at the interview to assess your level of competence in using Microsoft Excel.

You will join a lively, friendly and very knowledgeable team, in a dynamic service. The role will be well supported and will provide an opportunity to expand and grow your public sector accountancy knowledge and skills.
