Remote-first | Manchester or London hubs | £30,000
We’re looking for a Junior Paid Search / PPC Executive to join a growing digital team and get stuck straight into client campaigns from day one.
This is a great opportunity for someone with around 1–2 years’ agency experience who already understands the fundamentals of paid search and is ready to take the next step. You’ll have plenty of support around you, but we’re looking for someone who is confident, curious and happy to get on with things themselves.
The role
You’ll be working across a range of paid search campaigns, helping to plan, launch, manage and optimise activity for clients.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Creating, managing and optimising Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns
- Keyword research, search term analysis and campaign optimisation
- Monitoring budgets, bids and campaign performance
- Analysing data and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Supporting campaign reporting and presenting key findings
- Working with the wider digital team to deliver strong results for clients
- Helping with campaign strategy, testing and ongoing optimisation
- Keeping up to date with changes across paid search and digital advertising
- Using Google Sheets and the wider Google Workspace confidently to manage data, reporting and campaign information
Experience with Amazon Ads or paid social/app campaigns would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
Experience with Geo4 would also be advantageous.
What we're looking for
We’re not expecting the finished article. More importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and the fundamentals already in place.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Around 1–2 years’ experience in a digital/marketing agency environment
- Hands‑on experience with Google Ads
- Ideally some experience with Microsoft Ads
- A good understanding of PPC principles, campaign structure and optimisation
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Confidence working with data and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
- The ability to manage your own workload and stay organised
- A self-starter mentality and the confidence to ask questions when needed
- The ability to hit the ground running and take ownership of your work
The important bit
This is a remote‑first role, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and managing their time without someone looking over their shoulder.
There are hubs in Manchester and London for those who want to get together with the team, collaborate and see actual human beings occasionally.
In return, you'll get plenty of opportunity to learn, take on more responsibility and progress your career. There's lots of room for progression as the team grows, so this is a role for someone who wants to build something rather than simply sit in the same PPC role for the next few years.
If you're already working in PPC and looking for a role where you can develop quickly, have genuine ownership and work with a good team without being chained to a desk five days a week, we'd love to hear from you.
