Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Media Relations Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a media relations professional with a strong background in financial services to make a significant impact in a challenging and rewarding role. You will work closely with Brand and Marketing to deliver brilliant marcomms campaigns. Greater Manchester : Hybrid working Salary : 50k-65k Key Responsibilities Media Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive media relations strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and enhance brand reputation. Media Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key financial journalists, editors, and industry influencers to secure positive media coverage. Crisis Communication: Act as a trusted advisor during sensitive issues, providing expert guidance on managing media narratives and mitigating risks. Content Creation: Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality press releases, media kits, op-eds, and other communication materials tailored for financial audiences. Proactive Storytelling: Identify and pitch compelling stories that showcase the company’s expertise and leadership in the financial sector. Performance Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and report on media coverage and campaign performance to inform future strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, public affairs, and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
