Fancy working on some of the biggest sporting events in the world?

We’re working with a brilliant sports-focused events agency who are looking for an experienced

Account Manager to join their growing team.

This is a cracking opportunity for someone who knows their way around an events agency, is confident with clients and genuinely loves sport.

You’ll be working across a major global sporting account, helping to deliver premium hospitality programmes, live events, brand activations and partnership activity.

And yes, there’s plenty of travel involved including international race/event weekends.

So if the idea of swapping the office for the F1 paddock every now and then sounds appealing, keep reading…

What will you be doing?

You’ll be a key day-to-day contact for the client, building strong relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly from initial planning through to delivery.

You’ll be

  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.
  • Planning and delivering hospitality programmes across the season.
  • Managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Working across VIP guest management, accommodation, transport, gifting, communications and event experiences.
  • Managing brand partnerships, rights delivery and activation.
  • Preparing client presentations, plans and reporting.
  • Leading client calls and internal meetings.
  • Working closely with Production, Creative, Account Directors and senior leadership.
  • Managing suppliers, contracts and relationships.
  • Taking a client-facing lead role onsite at events.
  • Keeping a close eye on budgets, invoicing, forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Contributing ideas to grow and improve the account not just waiting to be told what to do.
  • Getting involved in pitches and new business when required.

Who are they looking for?

This isn't a role for someone who has simply watched a lot of sport. You’ll need solid agency experience and a genuine understanding of the sports and events world.

Ideally, you’ll have

3+ years' experience within sports and/or motorsport.

  • A good understanding of motorsport - particularly
  • F1 or Formula E
  • Strong client servicing and account management experience.
  • Experience managing events and guest programmes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects without losing your head.
  • Good experience managing sizeable budgets, ideally
  • The confidence to deal with senior client stakeholders and high-profile environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently while still being a proper team player.
  • A calm head when things inevitably get a little hectic onsite.

Experience working with rights holders, motorsport teams or global brand partners would be a big plus, as would additional languages.

  • The important bit - the travel
  • This role involves regular international travel

, including weekends during race and event periods.

It's a genuinely global account, so you'll need to be comfortable with the reality of working in live events - long days, travel, and the occasional controlled chaos that comes with delivering major sporting experiences.

In return, you'll get to work on some seriously exciting events and with some world-class brands.
