Event Health & Safety Consultant
Independent Event Specialist | Remote-First Team
📍 Remote: (with regular travel across the UK & internationally)
💻 Role: Permanent, full-time, remote working
🕒 Hours: 37.5 per week (flexibility required)
💰 Salary: £40,000–£45,000 (DOE)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, independent Event Specialist Health & Safety Consultancy. You’ll be part of a collaborative remote-first team who work across a diverse client base spanning sport, music, tech, and entertainment.
From world-class concerts to international sporting events, no two projects are ever the same — and you’ll play a key role in ensuring they’re delivered safely and seamlessly.
The Role
As an Event Health & Safety Consultant, you’ll provide expert advice and hands-on support to clients, ensuring safety standards are met across a wide variety of live events and productions.
This is a varied and exciting role with the chance to travel nationally and internationally to support on-site set-ups and live shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on their legal health & safety duties and implement effective safety management systems.
- Conduct evaluations and audits of health & safety management processes.
- Demonstrate client software through online or in-person sessions.
- Develop and deliver tailored training courses.
- Write and audit event safety documentation, including management plans, RAMS, and construction phase plans.
- Carry out contractor competency checks.
- Provide advice on fire safety and crowd management for events.
- Act as an on-site safety advisor for live projects.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in events, ideally in a health & safety capacity.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or NCRQ equivalent).
- Technical Member of IOSH (or willingness to join).
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to grow in the role.
- Full UK driving licence + own vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the UK and internationally.
- Strong IT skills (Google Workspace).
Desirable:
- Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent).
- Grad IOSH / working towards CMIOSH.
- Additional Health & Safety qualifications.
